EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT
Depending on one's particular condition, some treatment modalities may not be advised and others may be very effective. For that reason, please accurately report all symptoms and details of your condition, vitamins and medications, and any other concerns or details, so that we may select the treatment method(s) which will most benefit you.
Please advise of: any implants, pacemakers, or any other electronic devices, diabetes or being significantly overweight, pregnancy or nursing, hypo or hyper thyroid, high or low blood pressure, high cholesterol, bleeding or seizure disorders, cancer or other terminal illness' and/or if you are receiving any aggressive treatment, heavy metal toxicity, recent concussion or hydrocephaly, any broken bones and/or artificial joints, struggling with addictions, history of mental or physical trauma, or have been diagnosed with PTSD.
PREPARATION FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Water is a conductor of electricity, and no matter your treatment, being well hydrated with water (32 oz minimum) will help your session go more smoothly.
Clothing should be loose and comfortable. Please keep in mind that depending on your course of treatment, I may need to access your arms, legs, torso, or back.
*Upon arrival, please wait until your appointment time before entering the clinic.
If you are bringing an animal for treatment, please bring them on leash or carrier.
Remember to bring any and all supplies you may need while here, including leash, halter, water bowl, poop bags, etc. Depending on the circumstance, I may request your pets everyday items as well, such as: beds, toys, food, treats, medications they are taking, etc., to assess their situation.
*Please note sessions can only be completed with consent from the participant (18 yrs or older), or their legal guardian.
RESCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
My business operates on a scheduled appointment only basis. Please be respectful by honoring your appointment time.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give a minimum of 24 hour notice and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Last minute cancellations, skipped appointments, and "no-shows" leave me with empty appointment times and clients who could have benefited from my services during your time slot.
Please be advised: Clients who are not able to follow through on their scheduled booking times may no longer be accommodated.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
Prices are listed at the end of each of the services description.
Payment is to be made in full, at the time of the appointment, by cash or e-transfer, pre-paid clinic credit, or gift certificate.
INITIAL TREATMENTS
You are only required to pay the initial treatment cost for your first treatment with me, no matter the modality. At your first treatment we will discuss your situation, any medications you are taking or other treatment you've had, I will do an assessment, and we will determine the best treatment for your circumstance. Subsequent appointments for treatment will only be billed at the follow-up rate.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
I am covered under acupuncture, naturotherapy, and naturopath with several private insurance companies. I do not direct bill, am not able to determine coverage, nor submit claims on behalf of clients. I provide receipts for insurance purposes, however, any and all claim inquiries and submissions are the sole responsibility of the client. Insurance carriers and policy coverages consistently change. Please check with your carrier to find out the type and/or amount of coverage you have available.
ENVIRONMENT OF MUTUAL RESPECT
For the safety and security of both client and practitioner, I reserve the right to refuse services or discontinue treatment for reasons of drug or alcohol use, or inappropriate, disrespectful or dangerous behavior. Please be advised security monitoring features are installed within the clinic to maintain safety and security for both client and practitioner.
INFORMATION AND CONFIDENTIALITY
All clients receiving treatment will be asked to provide contact information, general health history, as well as the reason for their appointment. I take my responsibility as your healthcare practitioner seriously. Under client patient confidentiality, you can be confident that I will keep all your information, condition, care and treatment, etc. strictly confidential. Your personal information will never be shared with anyone.*
Due to client confidentiality and treatment protocols, only the client (receiving treatment) will be allowed in the clinic treatment area for the duration of treatment. Exceptions will be made only in the case of minor children, and pets.
*Please be advised I am required by law, to report any suspected negligence or abuse, illegal activity, and/or if I feel you are a significant harm risk to yourself or others.
REQUESTS FOR IN HOME OR TRAVILING SERVICES
The majority of my services will only be offered in clinic, or through distance services. However, I understand travel or transport can be difficult in extreme circumstances. If this is your situation, but you would like treatment please contact me and I will do my best to find a solution for your needs.
